The Titanfall 2 teaser trailer dropped today. And to be completely honest with you, I don't really find anything too interesting about it other than that quick shot (screen above) of that giant mechsword that's electrified.
I don't really know too much about this game because I think the first one was exclusive to the Xbox One (correct me if I'm wrong), so I didn't get a chance to try it out. All I do understand about the game, though, is that it was a mainly multiplayer game without a story.
And every time I look up the game or what this sequel is going to be about, I keep reading that they're going to expand on a single-player mode or at least give the game some kind of story that players can enjoy.
I don't really have too much hope for the game in terms of its story because there's an awful trend with games that are multiplayer-focused that end up making the story dull or lacking in most parts. It's kind of a weird experience trying to create a story around a the multiplayer component and I hope that they have a separate story mode that can be enjoyed without having to adhere to pleasing those who only want to play multiplayer games.
What do you guys think though? Have any of you played the original Titanfall? How was that?
