While getting my daily fix of ESPN, I stumbled across a segment between Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless.
The topic of discussion was Kobe Bryant vs. Derek Jeter. Steven A. Smith made it seem like Jeter was BY FAR the more accomplished guy, but Skip bought him back down to earth.
What do you guys think, who had a bigger impact on their sport: Kobe Bryant or Derek Jeter?
Jeter stats:
His accolades include 14 All-Star selections, five Gold Glove Awards, five Silver Slugger Awards, two Hank Aaron Awards, and a Roberto Clemente Award. Jeter became the 28th player to reach 3,000 hits and finished his career sixth all-time in career hits and the all-time MLB leader in hits by a shortstop.
5X World champion.
Kobe stats:
Bryant is an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, and 12-time member of the All-Defensive team. He has led the league in scoring twice, and he ranks third on both the league's all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists.
5x World Champion

Who had a better career: Kobe or Jeter?
