Is the above image confusing to you? If so, that means you're probably a young person with their whole life ahead of them and you know what, you should go get your degree or something and then a job or whatever.
But if you do know what this is, then it means you were alive long enough to experience the sadness and misrepresentation of the Legend of Zelda world through the game Link: The Faces of Evil made for the Philips CD-i. And if you don't know what that is, that's okay because it's unimportant.
One of the best things to come out of April Fool's Day -- even though it's been weeks since April 1st -- is this "HD" trailer for that terrible Link: Faces of Evil game. And weirdly enough, it's pretty accurate to how the original game looked and sounded.
Right when I didn't think I couldn't be any more afraid of weird animation and terrible video games, I came across this video and immediately wanted to hide in my hooded sweatshirt. Either way, though, I still found this video funny mostly because it exists.
Even if it was just for April Fool's Day, it's interesting to me that someone spent their time to make this thing. It's a definitely creepy but the creepier it is, the better 'cause you know, that's how the original cutscenes looked.
Let me know what you guys thought of this ridiculous video. I, for one, wish that the King: Quest for Dinner game was real. Because dinner is always something worth questing over.
