Late last night, someone sent me an hour long video (yes, it's around an hour long) of someone making and smithing (is that the right term?) the Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. Now, I'm going to be honest with you, I watched most of the video, not all of it.
And mostly because I didn't want to work this morning. I'd much rather watch this guy build a sword that's so large it's kind of unwieldy and heavy instead of work. I'd much rather watch 50-something minutes of a build that I can't understand instead of work.
It's not that I don't like my job. I'm glad I have it and I'm glad I get money directly deposited to my bank account every now and then. But come on, it's a job. It's called "work". And work isn't fun. It's never been fun.
And those people who tell you that you've got to find something you love and make it a job, they're full of it. Full of what? I don't know exactly. But making something you love your work just makes you not love the thing you thought you loved your whole life. Do you know what I'm saying?
Sorry, I kind of got all crazy for a second. But back on topic, this Buster Sword is pretty awesome. And I just wonder what he's going to do with the thing now that he's done making it. If I were him, I'd probably hang it on the wall or just keep it stuck into a wall. I don't know, it's giant. What are you supposed to do with this thing?
