Percy Harvin Retires At 27 Years Old
The NFL is losing another strong player in his prime.
According to ESPN, Wide receiver Percy Harvin has told the Buffalo Bills that he's retiring. Harvin, 27, had played for three teams since the start of the 2014 season and has seen his production dip since posting career highs in catches (87) and receiving yards (967) for the Minnesota Vikings in 2011.
Harvin, when healthy, was one of the more dynamic wide receivers in the NFL.
He could play out of the backfield, slot or far out. He had elite speed and could churn out big plays at the drop of a dime. Injuries seemed to play a huge factor in this decision. He has been suffering for multiple hip injuries that hampered his play over the past couple of years.
Despite being somewhat of a headache due to being unpredictable, Harvin was extremely talented. I think if he took some time off, got his body healthy and got a strong support system around him, teams would take a shot at him in a year.

Do you think this is the right move by Percy Harvin?

Do you think he will come back to the league after a short hiatus for a year or two?
