The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Rejet's popular 'Diabolik Lovers' CD and PSP Visual Novel game has started streaming its first promotional trailer. The video features the opening theme song, 'Mayonaka no Kyōen' from the original game alongside showcasing the characters. The story originally follows six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers and a girl called Yui Komori, who is constantly being troubled by seeing spirits and poltergeists. During her second year of high school, she is transferred to a new night school for entertainers and celebraties due to her father's work. At this new school rumours are being spread that there are actually vampires amongst the student body, which ultimately leads to Yui living with the Sakamaki brothers. The project will be directed by Shinobu Tagashira at the anime studio ZEXCS, adapting Satoi's original animation designs and following Seiko Nagatsu's script. The music is currently set to be scored by Yuuki Hayashi. Along with these the game's original cast are also to make a return for the anime adaptation; Hikaru Midorikawa as Ayato Sakamaki, Yuuki Kaji as Kanato Sakamaki, Daisuke Hirakawa as Raito Sakamaki, Kousuke Toriumi as Shu Sakamaki, Katsuyuki Konishi as Reiji Sakamaki, and Takashi Kondo as Subaru Sakamaki. Currently, the anime is scheduled to receive a release this fall.
