I'll usually watch an anime first just to see what the characters look and sound like first. Than go to the manga.

I have to agree with you because when I watch the anime then read the manga ( this may sound stupid) I can hear the different voices in my head

Meh... I love seeing it all animated, especially if there r battles in it. However, they often change the manga's epic looks (like this pic) & take out good plot pieces when put in2 an anime. Therefore, I rly just cant choose between. Thats y I do both: watch the anime & read the manga (if I like it enough). If they didn't change certain stuff, I would like anime better.
