While I was in Chicago, I did a little shopping.
Most people would check out stores they happen to be unfamiliar with, but I couldn't pass up not one [but three] opportunities to go to Sephora and stock up on a few goodies. I mean seriously, is there ever a wrong time to go inside of the greatest makeup store in the world? Of course not.
Although I didn't buy too many goodies, I did buy a few that instantly became my favorites over the course of just a few days. I couldn't wait to get back and share my new found loves with all of my fellow makeup and beauty gurus. So, without further ado, keep scrolling and check out my current beauty faves below.
Lauren Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
I've used quite a few setting powders in my day, but this one goes on smooth without looking cake-y. It gives the skin a flawless finish with a slight brightening effect. If I were to choose an everyday setting powder, this would hands down be my go to. It's worth a try ladies.
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask
I've grown to love anything charcoal because I've noticed how amazing it clears up breakouts. My relationship with this origins charcoal mask as literally love at first sight. While this will be my first personal tube, I was using my roommates for quite sometime and it was way too good to be true. If you're suffering from a breakout of any kind, charcoal is literally your best friend in time of need.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
My hands have been super dry lately. I've always heard amazing things about L'Occitane and it was officially time for me to learn for myself. I got myself a tube of the shea butter hand cream and let me tell you how my hands have never been more soft in my life. Talk about obsessed!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
I don't know what it is, but my face is usually oily -- if not a combination of both. These past few months my face has been extremely dry to the point where I just skip makeup most days. I stumbled across this product while browsing the checkout aisle in Sephora and it sounded too good to be true. I had heard a lot about overnight masks, so I decided to give this one a try since Origin has some pretty amazing products. It works like a charm. I wake up with soft and subtle skin with absolutely no traces of dryness. It's a miracle.
