African-American civil rights activist and abolitionist Harriet Tubman will become the new face of the $20 bill.
The changes are part of an effort by the Obama administration to put a woman on paper currency and Jacob Lew said that along with Tubman becoming the face of the $20 bill, images of women and civil rights era leaders will also be added to bills.
"We are putting a woman on the 20, the 10, and the 5 and we are going to move as quickly as we can get all of these bills out there," Lew said in an interview with ABC News.
This is a big day for members of the civil rights movement.

What woman would you like to see on the 10 or 5 dollar bill?

doesn't bother me none, I think switching the faces out every now and then is considered fair no matter what race or gender

@shannonl5 ah okay. I think @Priscillasdoor has a point though, maybe they could have just added a 25 and 75 dollar bill maybe? lol But either way its pretty cool.

@Straightshooter we probably wouldn't use those very much. The $20 is generally the most useful bill, the higher ones don't get used often because people are wary about carrying that much cash on them. And with odd numbers like that I think it would end up being a waste to print them

Nobody accepts bills larger than a $20 mostly anyway.
