Just yesterday, I was talking to a friend of mine about the way I'm going to purchase games over the next couple of months. There's a lot of good things coming out (Uncharted 4 being one of them) this Spring/Summer and it takes some real financial tinkering to afford the things I want to. And yesterday, I remember saying how I'd have to get Mirror's Edge in June in order to get a new game with every paycheck.
So when I heard that Mirror's Edge is getting delayed to June, I couldn't help but feel a little conflicted. On the one hand, I was upset because I wanted to play that game sooner rather than later. But then on the other hand, I'm pretty happy about it because then it forces me to hold off on purchasing the game until I can afford it.
The devs announced that they're delaying the game to give themselves a little more time in perfecting the title for all of us to enjoy. And I think a lot of it has to do with their Social Play features. And if you're unsure of what that is or what that means, you can swipe to the right above and watch the Dev Diary that explains it.
I'm still on the fence about how I feel about this delay but, hey, what can you do, right?
Mirror's Edge will be released on June 7th, 2016.
