A self taught photographer, Alex Prager was drop out of her high school, and spent most of her teenagers traveling around Europe. Struggling with her 20s life on working with the terrible office job, her career was turning to another point when she decided to visit the museum and gallery shows to see if there was anything that she might be able to do in the area of art. At that time, she stumbled on a William Eggleston exhibition. And her life changed from there.
She started out with black and white which is strange since it was Eggleston that influenced her.
