Just when everyone thought the Rockets were out of the series, they shocked the world with a huge victory in Game 3, 97-96.
The Warriors have been without Steph Curry who is suffering with an ankle injury. With the series lead cut to 2-1 and the Warriors playing the next game in Houston, will they rush Curry back for game four?
My thoughts are he will not play in game four.
Everyone said he wanted to play the past two games, but Curry has had surgery on that ankle in the past, and if they want to make a deep run, he will need to rest his ankle as much as possible.
The Warriors would be best served rolling the dice and hoping they have enough on deck to win the next game in Houston. By sitting Curry, that would give him a week of treatment and rest. If they go up 3-1, he can acquire more rest, if not then he will play in game 5 for sure.
With a potential matchup with Damian Lillard or Chris Paul in the next series, the Warriors will need Curry at 100% for the next round.
