Ever have a serious craving for some dessert, perhaps a cookie (or twelve), but just feel too guilty making the greasy, sugar-filled recipe your mom used to bake you?
Same. But I've got the solution: if you like chocolate chip cookies, you'll love this recipe and probably eat the entire batch yourself.
All you'll need to get:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup oats
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
semi-sweet chocolate chips (as many as you want)
All you'll need to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, mash up the bananas until fairly smooth. Chunks are OK, but try to minimize the amount of chunks in your mix.
Add in oats and cinnamon, mix well.
Add in chocolate chips, mix again.
Grease a baking sheet and use a large spoon to scoop the mixture onto the sheet into dome-shaped chunks.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until your cookies are slightly browned. (Note: there are no ingredients in this recipe that need baking to be edible, so it's really a personal preference. There isn't much being "undercooked" here!)
Did you eat the whole batch?
Me too. ;)
