I have a plantain that's finally ripe. I wanted to do something sort of extra special, but I think I am in the mood for some maduros. Plus, they are very easy to make. For this recipe you need a ripe, yellow plantain. You want them very ripe, so make sure to use a plantain that sort of browned at the skin.
What You'll Need:
Very ripe plantains
How To Make It:
1) Heat a little bit of oil in a skillet of medium heat.
2) Peel plantain (you can use a knife and cut skin deep vertically down for an easier peel). Cut plantains at an angle, into thick pieces.
3) Cook plantains until brown, or for about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet, place on paper towel to drain oil. Serve.
