I used to have a dilemma of not knowing what to wear when I have a closet full of clothes. A part of it is due to the fact I shopped compulsively while in college. Living right across the street from the largest mall in town is a sign of danger (for my wallet). By the time I was a senior in college I started minimize my spending on clothing. I donated two large bags of clothes because I didn't want to transport them back to my home where my closet was already full. I stop purchasing clothes on the whim and now I rely on a try to shop more intentional.
Recently, I started a capsule wardrobe plan. You can read more about capsule wardrobe here but in short it is a collection of clothes that will not go out of fashion for a long period of time. Basically, the closet is filled with essential pieces that could be mix and match for a minimum of 3 months. It has to be 30 pieces or less. You can add accessory as you go. So, it's quite challenging.
As you all know, I have a couple of items on my wishlist. I haven't complete my wardrobe plan yet but I was able to put together the basic pieces I already own. There's a total of 12 items (shown above) and some of them are rolled over from last season. So, that's a good start! I can't wait to finally clear my closet though. By the way, I won't include the special occasion attires in this list because I don't wear them often.

Have you ever tried a capsule wardrobe and are you will to try it?

I LOVE the idea of a capsule wardrobe, but I just can't get behind it. I'm such a shopaholic hahahah
@petname83 It takes quite a bit of time to get the system started but once you take the first step it should be easier.
@jordanhamilton I remember! I was trying to search up your card to link it but couldn't find it. It took me so long to get it going. It was hard letting go of my old clothes even though I have no use for it anymore.
@Scheherashared Definitely!
@TessStevens I can totally understand haha.
