Hello everybody! VoidX here, and I'll upload a little...check-up to see as to why Kabeneri of The Iron Fortress might either be one of the best anime we've had in a loooooong while or literally one of the worst, who's running the show and some fast and conclusive data/analysis!
So far with only three episodes out (delayed due to the earthquake), it has gotten some pretty rave opinions about it!
Let's see why
If you're on a computer, listen to the OP here while reading the check-up :)
Watch the intro first and then listen to it again while reading the check-up XD
The OP itself can show a whole bunch over how the overall animation will be as well as the vibrant music and intensity of the show
Directed by: Araki Tetsuro
Notable examples: Death Note, Attack on Titan, Guilty Crown
Script Written by: Okouchi Ichiro
Notable examples: Code Geass
Listen here...you're taking the director of Death Note and Attack on Titan, the two shows I know for having the best and most rewarding cliffhangers and overall pace of the story with the script made by same guy who did Code Geass' masterful visionary and complex narrative... Dis gun b guud...!
Studio: Wit Studio
Notable Examples: Attack on Titan, Owari no Seraph
It's clearly shown through the first episode that they use the same attention to detail and overall contrast of a scene like they do on AoT, and as they do the same here, they really aren't afraid of using blood to drench our screens with. Our characters move naturally and behave with normal functions, and the fighting-scenes are fluid, and walks the line of showing us just enough to understand what is going on and still leaving out more to come
Head of Music: Hiroyuki Sawano
Notable Examples: Attack on Titan, Owari no Seraph, Guilty Crown, Kill la Kill, Ao no Exorcist, Aldnoah.Zero
Uhm...he's the best in the business. Trust me It's gonna be epic
"As the world is in the middle of an industrial revolution, a monster appears that cannot be defeated unless its heart, which is protected by a layer of iron, is pierced. By infecting humans with its bite, the monster can create aggressive and undead creatures known as Kabane. On the island Hinomoto, located in the far east, people have built stations to shelter themselves from these creatures. People access the station, as well as transport wares between them, with the help of a locomotive running on steam, called Hayajiro. Ikoma, a boy who lives in the Aragane station and helps to build Hayajiro, creates his own weapon called Tsuranukizutsu in order to defeat the creatures. One day, as he waits for an opportunity to use his weapon, he meets a girl named Mumei, who is excused from the mandatory Kabane inspection. During the night, Ikoma meets Mumei again as he sees Hayajiro going out of control. The staff on the locomotive has turned into the creatures. The station, now under attack by Kabane, is the opportunity Ikoma has been looking for."
