Learn This Lift: Side Lateral Raise

This exercise will help you achieve beautiful shoulders. It's an isolated exercise that's not very difficult to get right.

1) Grab two doubles and stand up straight. Have the dumbbells at your sides with the palm of your hands facing your body.
2) Keep your torso tight and stable. Begin to raise the dumbbells with a slight bend at the elbow. Continue until arms are parallel to the floor.
3) Lower the dumbbells back down slowly to the starting position.
