Lemon water: Boil some water. Let it sit for 20-25 minutes. Juice half a melon and take a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and add it to the water. Benefits: helps digestion. Stimulates circulation. Regulates blood sugar. Highly alkaline and helps to properly function.
Nice veggie smoothie:Take lemon, cucumbers, broccoli, ginger, kale, lettuce, celery, pears, water, and mint. Blend together, and enjoy :)
Stove top oats: Combine ¾ cup rolled oats and 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk in a small pot over high heat. When boiling, reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally and watching to make sure it doesn’t boil over. Once thick, stir in one teaspoon cinnamon and one mashed banana. Remove from heat and serve with toppings. My favorites are peanut butter, strawberries, blue berries, raspberries, and bananas
Lettuce wraps: Take a piece of romaine lettuce (or any lettuce of your choice) and fill it with brown rice/ quinoa, smoked tofu/veggie beef cooked in hoison sauce, sauteed bell peppers/ carrots/ zuchini or any vegetables, sauteed onions and mushrooms, avocado and salsa, nutritional yeast or vegan cheese, hot sauce, and anything else of your choice.
Avo-Tomato sandwich: On two slices of bread/ bagel, spread ½ a mashed avocado, a sprinkle of nutritional yeast and add some tomato slices. Optional things i like to add are spinach / lettuce, alfalfa sprounts, and ground flax seeds.
