Casseroles have a negative connotation. I think of mushy, grey, condensed soup concoctions that shouldn't be eaten. I call this one a french toast casserole (bottom left in the picture), but it's really more of a bread pudding, custard-soaked cinnamon raisin bread baked until set and topped with mounds of fresh berries.
