When we come at a stop sign, some of us thing that the road is over. But that's not even close to being true. Things take a pause for a moment, but then we are free to go. We are free to turn, drive straight, get out of the car and walk through where we couldn't go with that big ass car.
When I graduated from high school
When I graduated from college
When I went through a series of being dumped
When I had to sleep on abuela's couch
When I had no clue how I was going to pay next month's rent...
All of those things weren't the end. It was the start of something new. And I am a big believer that if something doesn't go our way, it's because there's a better way approaching.
Oh, things just got bad again? I got this. This ain't nothing. Worse case? I go through the worse again, but this time -- I have a clue of what I need to do. So for all of you who are at a stop sign or don't know where to go...you'll be alright. A stop sign isn't the edge of a cliff.
Count your blessings.
Learn from your tribulations.
Prepare for the worse.
Hope for the best.
