So I finally decided to give this 100 Days of Anime Challenge a shot! I've been here a while, and some of you have probably seen me around, but I haven't posted much, so you probably don't know me too well, so I thought this would be a nice way to introduce myself, and help you get to know your friendly neighborhood demon better!
Technically, my first anime was probably Pokémon. I still remember this heartbreaking moment from my youth! I remember watching Toonami when I was little, and I remember loving Pokemon and Sailor Moon, but, sadly, I don't really remember hardly anything about them. I've always loved anime, but, for some unknown reason, I stopped watching it...
In high school, some friends dragged me to Anime Club one day, and we watched the first 3 episodes of Soul Eater, and I loved it! But I didn't continue, and I still don't know why...
A few years later, just after some friends kicked off my geek awakening with Doctor Who, my college roommate was watching Fairy Tail and I think inadvertently got me into it! She let me watch on her Netflix account since I didn't have one, and I blasted through the 48 episodes available!
About a year later, my dad caved and got a Netflix account for the family! Between episodes of Supernatural to complete my SuperWhoLock trifecta, I began rotating with various anime, starting with Soul Eater, remembering that anime club incident from high school. After a few others, I rewatched Fairy Tail, this time exploring out into the internet where I found that there was, in fact, a shit ton more of it! And that is the story of why I credit Fairy Tail and Soul Eater jointly as my first anime! They both still stand among my elite list of favorites! Hope I didn't bore you to tears!
And so, here goes nothing! If you wanna learn more about me/ be my friend/ be tagged in these, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm nice, I swear (mostly)! Or I guess you can follow my 100 Days of Anime collection, or both if you feel so inclined! Tagging @SAMURXAI @NikolasSatterwh @assasingod @UzumakiJess
Man that's so cool!! They don't have stuff like that where I live. @OtakuDemon10
Sort of. I think it was more just an after school thing at the public library right next door @UzumakiJess
@UzumakiJess @assasingod We do have one at my university (if it exists, there's a club for it) that I went to a few times (partly responsible for my watching Durarara!! and Psycho Pass)
@UzumakiJess I was about to say the same thing lol @OtakuDemon10
You had an anime club in your high school?!!
