The newspaper giant is partnering with a startup called Chef'd to deliver meal kits to accompany recipes from the New York Times Cooking site.
This could be a pretty good look for both parties involved. While this isn't a traditional service the Times is known for, these off-branch business opportunities can bring in capital down the line, which is greatly needed in their line of work. If they can make it make sense from a branding standpoint, this could be big.
