Trips to the mall will never be the same: Aéropostale is closing 113 stores in the U.S. and all of its stores in Canada after losing money for 13 consecutive quarters.
If you grew up in the late 90's and 2000's if you grew up in suburban communities, you probably wore Aeropostale, or at least a lot of the girls you knew wore it.
The company wasn't pricey, but grabbed the cool factor. You often saw a lot of the big young teen stars wearing it in movies.
Over the past decade, Hollister seems to have filled that lane, and the company has struggled to grab back the throne.
For those who grew up in that era, we all know that Aeropostale will be missed.
NO! Gilly hick is gone and now this. I guess I have to purchase my PJs elsewhere. :(
Damn I wore Aeropostale throughout my middle school years, outgrown that style of clothing starting high school. I'm currently a junior about to be a senior in the next couple months :'(
