EPISODES: 16 (2014)

Choi Kang-joo (Lee Hong-ki)
So if anyone has every watched Lee Hong-ki in "You're Beautiful", then I'm sure you fell for him there like I did. I thought I'd watch another one of his dramas and I fell for him once again. This time he plays a more serious role yet he stills has a sense of humor and makes me giggle. He is so adorable, handsome, has such a caring look in his eyes and he's sweet in his own way. He also cares deeply for his loved ones. He is the heir to Taeyang group and plans to marry someone he doesn't love named Yi Kyung but ends up falling for Na Do Rim who is playing Yi Kyung but he doesn't know it. He sees her sweet and kind heart, he falls for her after the first time they kissed. He overhears the rumor about the first woman he marries must die as a sacrifice and breaks off the wedding with Yi Kyung but the love between Na Do Rim and Kang-joo is so strong that they get married secretly by themselves and realize that the rumor was all a lie. I forgot to mention that he loves his sweet potatoes.
This scene though... ;( I wanted to rip my heart out!
I noticed that these two played best friends not only in this drama but also in "My Unfortunate Boyfriend". They are so great friends, I feel the love between them.

Yang Jin-Sung

She plays 3 roles in this drama. Not only does she play Na Doo Rim and Jang Yi Kyung but she also plays her grandmother when she was younger. She does an absolutely outstanding job at making each character so different. It makes me think that there are actually really 3 of her. Especially when she plays extremely different roles going from being Yi Kyung who is the devil and heartless, then playing Na Doo Rim who is the opposite being nice, caring and overall a good person. She has talent and chemistry with everyone she works with. I thought I should watch another drama she played in since I liked her acting in "My Unfortunate Boyfriend".

I can't explain how much I love this plot. I like that it's about two identical girls who aren't related at all but play the role of a girl named Yi Kyung, it adds plot to the story. The rumor about the first born boy of each generation has to sacrifice their first bride to die, but in reality that rumor was made up. The truth is a ghost comes and tries to help each couple find true love. The bracelet helped make that happen, so the woman who is the ghost didn't lie about the bracelet being good luck to Na Doo Rim because it is. When Yi Kyung "runs away" her brother Yi Hyun falls for her replacement Doo Rim, which creates a love triangle but we all knew that nothing was going to happen between them. Sorry, OPPA! I love Lee Hong-ki!!! The lies add more plot and I love the romance between the main couple.
Choi Kang ju and Na Doo Rim
I love this couple sooooo much, they has a lot of chemistry and you can feel it when they are on the screen together. They have so many cute moments and adorable kiss scenes. I loved the emotional/tear jerking scenes between them. It made me love them more. I love that even though Kang Ju finds out later who Na Doo Rim really is, he still loves and cares for her. They have such a cute ending together and they will make you cry. JUST SAYING!!!
Cake Kiss!
This is the cutest kiss, in my opinion from this drama. It was so perfectly planned out and I loved it. Kang Ju gets sucked in to temptation when she is licking her fingers and pulls her in for a kiss. Then she freaks out on him after the kiss XD
It is so funny and cute. He acts like he's cool and says he can do whatever he wants.
"Words I Couldn't Say Yet" by Lee Hong-ki
I love his voice a lot and I'm so glad he sang one of the ost's because it's so good. It makes me smile, the softness in his voice and emotional sound he gives off.

I loved about this drama except for the mean and selfish mother of Yi Kyung. I loved the storyline so much, it didn't drag at all which I'm thankful for because I would've quit watching if it did. I loved the characters and the actors playing each one. The main couple had loads of chemistry and were super adorable, I couldn't get enough. The ost's were good but could've been better. There was some humor and intensity filled with some drama on the sides. It's a well put together drama and has a great ending that will make you jump for joy.

9.5/10 - It's a romance, comedy, drama. It's really cute and you'll fall for Lee Hong-ki all over again. I recommend this one for sure, it will make you cry, smile and laugh.

Have you watched "Bride of the Century", and did you like it?

I really enjoyed this one.....and it was so different from his Modern Farmer.
I loved this drama!! I feel like it's been over looked by many people.... It's got everything you want in a drama and I love that we got to see a different side of both the main actors!!
I was cautious about watching this, but seeing as how you liked it I would have to give it a try. I saw Lee Honggi in You're Beautiful, and I balled my eyes out, fell in love with him and his character. I'll check it out. Thanks for the review X3
