This is a tough choice for me, but I think I have to say I'm most like Sheele from Akame Ga Kill! I know I already featured her in my favorite female character card, but I think we all tend to be drawn toward characters we relate to. She's kinda shy and soft-spoken, and a bit of a ditz sometimes, but she's great at what she does. She's super sweet, but she also has a dark side. She kind of stumbles through life, unsure of where she fits, until Tatsumi comes along, and finds her purpose, comforting him as he copes with his misfortune. Like Sheele, I'm a bit of a wallflower out there in the real world, and I'm still unsure of what I'm doing with my life, but, ever since I was little, I've always kind of been one of those people that people vent to (mostly my sister). I'm good at listening to and comforting others, I guess. I also wear glasses, and purple's my color, so extra points there!
Erika Karisawa, Durarara!!
Not just a cute profile pic! I'm a total fangirl, for much more than just anime, and I love geeking out with fellow fans, like all of you! I think my favorite thing about Erika, though, is her outlook on life. There is an episode where she kind of lectures on perceptions of fantasy vs reality that I just love: "For us, the world of fiction is an important playground, just like the real world is. We think they are both equally valuable, so it's not like we hate reality or something" (episode 20: A New King Will Rise). I think it's a beautiful explanation for why there are people like otakus who immerse themselves in fiction, and I like to ponder things like that like she does.
Lucy Heartfilia, Fairy Tail
Honestly, this may mostly be because she was my result for a Fairy Tail personality test. I really do feel like I relate to her, and I feel like I might react similarly to her if I were to find myself in her situation. We're both brainy bookworms, a bit busty, and care deeply for those important people in our lives and hate to be a burden on them. It's difficult for me to put the connection I feel with Lucy into words...
Hiyori Iki, Noragami
Like with Lucy, I think I would react similarly to Hiyori if I were in her shoes. Like Hiyori, I seem normal on the surface, but, though I'm not into martial arts, I previously mentioned my fangirl affliction, so instead of the Jungle Savate, I might try applying the teachings of the Winchesters to my situation or something! I kind of float around in my own little world; it's more interesting here! Anyway, I love the way she is with Yato and Yukine, and I think that's what I connect with the most about her.
As always, hope you enjoyed! If you wanna learn more about me/ be my friend/ be tagged in these, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm nice, I swear (mostly ;p)! Or I guess you can follow my 100 Days of Anime collection, or both if you feel so inclined! Until next time!
