Would You Become a Flight Attendant?

I'M GOING TO LEARN HOW TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND I'M GOING TO SLIDE DOWN AN INFLATABLE SLIDE, LET'S GO!

Alright, totally not what I was expecting from a United Airlines video. It's really funny!
Glad to see them putting so much into creating a cool brand image. I've always flown United, but if I didn't this would have me checking their website more often ;)

What I learned: Training is intense.

6 weeks long, 6 days a week.

They cover everything from customer service, medical emergencies, fire, and even aircraft emergencies (they have to know how the plane works!)
The final safety test involves getting an entire plane of passengers out of a plane, down a slide, and to a secure area in 90 seconds.

Check out the short video about it:

One of my friends in high school's parents were actually both flight attendants! I remember them coming to our tennis games fresh off the plane from the UK or France - which seems so cool!

I wonder how they had time for romance, flight attendants are so busy!!!

I love traveling but would like to have more time to enjoy the places I'm traveling too, flight attendants don't get much time in the countries they visit.

Would you want to become a flight attendant?

ps check out one of their security videos :)

@VeronicaArtino I LOVE Jet Blue! And totally! My friends parents were both flight attendants so that was really hard to schedule, but my friend's dad who was a pilot has a SWEET schedule because he flew to Australia so he only had to work 3 days a week usually :)
