As the opening ceremony for the 2016 Rio Olympics inch closer, athletes around the world have raised safety concerns around the outbreak of the Zika virus in Brazil.

And Rory Mcilroy (#3 golfer in the world) announced that he might not be participating in the Olympics because of the Zika virus.

Other high profile golfers such as Adam Scott and Vijay Singh have already announced that he would not be participating in the Olympics.

This would be a disappointing turnout for golf fans around the world especially this year's Olympics marks the first return of golf since 1904.

With all these concerns about the Zika virus in Brazil...

Do you think golfers are making the right decision to not take part in the Olympics?
