Justifiable Homicide?
This graph shows the chances that a killing will be found as "justified" based on Stand Your Ground laws. Especially important in context of the Zimmerman trial and unfortunately self-explanatory.

Personally I don't think SYG laws are legit. Stand your ground laws state that even you don't have to, you can kill someone who has inflicted severe bodily harm on you (even if you can retreat). Do you think this is ok?

I honestly have no idea about the boundaries of the SYG law... but yeah this chart definitely makes it seem there is more than just the "law" at play.

This chart is pretty dramatic, I re-read the article and its not clear how--bias free-- it is. Still, an interesting background for the zimmerman case
