so here's another one ... i wonder if this phrase is also used when you want to ignore someone as well and say, "I can't hear you" <<sticking your fingers in your ears>> 잘 안 들려요 ~ jal an deullyeoyo if someone can confirm that ... this would be a fun phrase to use ... :)
@PiuPiuPENGUIN: Thank you so much for your help! It makes sense to me now. I definitely think becoming fluent in Korean is not only about learning the words, but learning how to say the words in the way you want to express them. So thanks again for showing me that^^. Please feel free to stop by our Learn Korean community anytime and help us out whenever you can. We would really appreciate it :)
thanks :) @PiuPiuPENGUIN ... gotta find a pic to go with that text ... hehehe guess you can't be polite n tell someone off LMAO
it's another good collection....
@divalycious @aero2042 nah sorry, this doesn't work in this way, you used the honorific form :( if you want to say shut up you would say: 닥쳐 (equivalent of STFU) or if you want to say I can't hear you in the way I am ignoring you it has to be: 뭐라고? 나 안들려. with a really mean tone xD
@PiuPiuPENGUIN wonder if you can help us clarify the usage of the saying above :)
