Kpop Generations
While catching up on Infinite Challenge episodes I saw the one where they held the "Saturday Saturday Is a Singer" concert, bringing back 10 singers/groups from the 1990's Kpop era. It was very cool because both the performers and fans (of all ages) had so much fun and were all so moved by this special experience.

So it got me thinking - how much has k pop changed or remained the same in the last 20 years?

(HOT/Big Bang)

I mean before there was this...

(JJ Project)

There was this ...

(Turbo)

Before these cute girls ...

(Miss A)

These cute girls!

(SES)

Before these fast talkers...

(Loco and Gray .. Jay snuck into one picture too)

There were those fast talkers ...

(Jinusean)

Visuals were important then and now..

(Lee Jung Hyun/CL)

... As was your image, performance, and engaging your fans!

(Seo Taji and Boys/BTS)

I think in the end I've concluded that while K pop performances have definitely evolved over the past 20 years, you can really see that the spirit of K pop has been handed down from generation to generation...

(Kim Kun Mo/G Soul)

...And ultimately whether in 1996 or 2016, it's all about the music and the love affair between the artists and their fans.
