3 Rare Compliments That I LOVE

It's so common for people to say 'I love your hair!' or 'Your eyes are so pretty' when trying to compliment someone...

but its the unique rare compliments that really get to me.

1. I love your voice.

I don't know why people don't compliment this more. Each person has such a unique voice and tone and I love it when people notice! For example, my mom's voice is really calm and she always sounds so chill, whereas I love my boyfriend's voice when he's trying not to laugh cause he hastotalkreallyfasttokeephislaughterundercontrol.

2. Your laugh is so great!

People have great laughs and you should tell them about it. I know a lot of people who are self conscious about their laughs when they're actually my FAVORITE laughs I've ever heard. Telling someone will probably boost their mood even more and keep the fun coming.

3. You've inspired me to _______

I remember when a friend of mine told me that I inspired her to read more and for some reason it made me feel so good. Having someone look up to you and try something new because of you is the ultimate compliment.

What's the best compliment you've ever received?

I don't think we ever compliment others enough...because we are somehow embarrassed or afraid we might sound silly. But I will let you in on a secret...it's contagious and people admire you for it. Even just sharing a smile will make you so much more approachable. I will often compliment people at work on their talents, or say what a great team we make. Or just, Wow, we really pumped out the work today...we're so fabulous...which usually is responded with a chuckle. It's definitely the little things that count.

someone told me that no matter what I go through (mostly downs the last three years), how much crap has happened to me... I always have a smile on my face and try to make others happy, lifting them up.
