"I don't know who that is. I'm sorry." I couldn’t even look the reporter in the eye.

"Get me out of here. Please," I begged. My grip tightened, and I felt his worry through the bond. He gave a slight nod to the guys.

"You got your answer, so we will be going now," Namjoon told the reporter. He didn't seem pleased with my response, but didn't push any further. Jungkook helped me to the car, lifting me in to the seat, and buckling my seat belt. When everyone was in the car and the doors were all closed, I broke down into tears. Everyone was silent as my sobs echoed through the car.

"Jagi..." He held me in his arms in an effort to muffle my loud sobs.
"My father is a mass murderer."
"He's your father?!" He yelled out loud. My eyes widened at his sudden out burst. He cursed under his breath for accidentally saying that out loud.

"Your father is the mass murderer Kang Dae-won?"

"Yes... I couldn't remember at first. I never even knew him, so I never think about him. But when the reporter said his name out loud, it hit me," I mumbled. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys, and if you don't want me as your personal manager anymore, I totally understand.” They all looked at me like I was crazy.

"What in the world would make you think we don't want you as our personal manager anymore?" Jin asked.

"Well, if it were to get out that your personal manager's father is one of the most wanted criminals, it wouldn't be very good for you guys."

"Cathleen you don't even know him. It's not like you're keeping a criminal in hiding. You don't even consider him your father."

"No buts. If people are going to put that much effort into finding your secrets, we will put that much more effort into fighting back. You're not associated with him except for the fact that you have half of his genes, and that doesn't mean anything to us." I smiled weakly at the guys. They all seemed to agree

"Besides, you're not getting rid of me that easily," Jungkook smirked.

"How did that reporter find out about her father?!" I cringed at the harsh tone. "We must keep that a secret. No one can know about that."

"The guys have all promised to protect her and keep their mouths shut."

"If that gets out, our whole plan will be completely ruined, and there is no plan B," he warned. "If this fails, my future will be no more.”

How did that reporter connect me to my father? We have no connection to each other at all. It just doesn’t make sense.

“You’re thinking pretty deeply there jagi.” I looked over at Kookie who was sitting up in bed across from the plush love seat is was curled up in. I sighed before standing up and making my way over to the bed. I crawled under the covers, laying my head on his firm chest.

“You’ve been working out more Kookie.” “Gotta look good for my Jagi.”
“Just don’t become a body builder. You’re sexy just the way you are.” He lightly chuckled out loud.

“I’m too lazy to take it that far. Besides the fans all want to see nice abs, so got to keep them nice.” I scrunched my eyebrows at the thought of other girls squealing at his body. I sighed again. You have to share Cathleen. Your boyfriend is a world famous hottie. Nothing you can do about the fan girls.

“We’re stuck with each other, so you better make sure those fan girls know you’re mine,” I pouted. He smirked at my childishness.

“And if I don’t?”

“Then I’ll make sure they know,” I warned. His eyes widened slightly.

“Got it. I’ll make sure they know,” he squeaked.

“I’m tired Kookie. Let’s go to sleep.” I promptly yawned and he hummed in agreement.

“Jungkook I swear. Where the heck are we going? My feet hurt.” I lead her along the sidewalk ignoring her whining.

“Just be patient Jagi.”

“I don’t have a single ounce of patience in my body Kookie.”

“Well then aren’t you glad you’re not dating Tae instead of me.”

“What does that have to do with Tae?” I grumbled.

“Everyday is a surprise with him. He always keeps you on your toes and keeps secrets from you to surprise you daily.”

“I would die.”

“Exactly. I only do this on special occasions.”

“So this is a special occasion?”

“You’ll have to wait and find out,” I smirked. She groaned as I continued to pull her along.

“An ice cream parlor?”

“Not just any ice cream parlor Jagi. This is where we had our first fake date for publicity.” I looked around, beginning to remember that day. They had the best cinnamon roll ice cream. It had actual bits of cinnamon roll dough in it. How could you go wrong with that? We sat down at a small secluded booth in the back corner after we got our ice cream. Hopefully no one would notice who we were. I immediately dug in to the two scoops as soon as sat down. I didn’t notice Jungkook staring at me the whole time. In one of the last few bites, my spoon hit something hard as it tried to scoop up the ice cream. My eyebrows scrunched in confusion. I suspiciously glanced up at Jungkook.

“What did you do to my ice cream?”

“I didn’t do anything Jagi. You’ve been sitting here the whole time. How could I have done anything to it without you seeing me?”

“So you wouldn’t care if I just threw my bowl away?” His eyes widened.

“Aish woman! Just look in your dang bowl.” I looked back down at the bowl. The ice cream had started to melt, revealing a small plastic box at the bottom of my bowl. I cleared as much ice cream as I could, before picking it up and setting it on a napkin. I stared at it not knowing what to do.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been to an ice cream parlor that accidently drops things into their ice cream. I should probably tell someone.” Jungkook quickly grabbed the box, and cleaned it off.

“Pabo,” he chuckled, setting the opened box in front of me. It was empty

“Kookie?” What was he doing?

“I told you before. You completely ruined my plans for asking you out, so I thought it would be nice to officially ask you out how I wanted to in the first place.”

“You’re asking me out with an empty box?” He just continued to casually continued to eat his ice cream. “Well you know my answer.”

“Do I?” he smirked.

“No.” His smile immediately melted into a frown.

“What? What do you mean no?”

“Well you asked a question so I answered.”

“We’re already dating. How could you reject me?”

“I never rejected you. You asked if you knew my answer. You were being a little smart alec, so I decided to be one back,” I smirked.

“Yah! You scared to crap out of me!”

“Oh, but yes I will go out with you,” I said throwing him a cheeky grin. He stood up and grabbed my wrist, forcing me to stand up and follow him out the door of the ice cream parlor. “Where are we going now?” I whined. He ignored me and continued walking briskly towards our next destination. The street lights illuminated his profile in the dark night. This was the guy I was dating. Perfect in every way.

“Jagi.” I hadn’t realized we had stopped. I looked up at a smirking Jungkook. “Am I just that good looking?”

“Well I can’t lie and say you’re wrong,” I mumbled, looking at my fidgeting feet.

“Jagi,” he called again. I looked up at him, my cheeks still slightly pink from being caught. We were standing in the middle of a bridge, both of our hands linked with each other’s. “You’re absolutely certain that your answer is yes?”

“What, do you want me to take it back now?”

“No! I’m just making sure that’s all.” He grew a bit fidgety.

“Jungkook, what are you going to do?” I asked suspiciously. He reached into is pocket and pulled out the real ring box that contained our rings. He quickly slipped mine on before grabbing my hands again.

“Jagi, I love you.” He leaned in and placed a light, but passionate kiss on my lips. Our first kiss. I was too stunned to even care about the bright flash that went off, but Jungkook noticed it and cursed under his breath. “Looks like it’s time to run.” I didn’t even care, I just followed whatever he said.

We ran all the way back to the dorm in hopes that the photographer wouldn’t follow us the whole way here. The other guys quickly opened the door for us. I had been so scatter brained from the kiss, I hadn’t noticed my asthma begin to act up as we were running. By the time we got to the dorm, I was wheezing and coughing to the point where I couldn’t breath. Not only would I have my first kiss today, but it seems I’ll also have my first trip to the emergency room as well.

“How did you not know she had asthma?! She’s your girlfriend!” I stood in the waiting room of the emergency room, getting yelled at by Seokjin. People were staring at us as they walked by. You could tell some of them wanted to get an autograph or picture, but no one would dare approach Mama Jin while she was angry.

“How am I supposed to know something she’s never told me about?!” He pinched the bridge of his nose. He knew I was right. She had never brought up anything about having any kind of medical conditions. I don’t even know if she’s allergic to anything. My head began to pound, causing me to stumble and lean on to the wall for support. I held my hand to my head and cried out in pain.

“Jungkook!” Everyone rushed to my side. Memories began flooding into my brain, and a small voice repeated the same few words in a loop.
“Love.” “Parents.” “Child.” “No more bond.”
She was allergic to cinnamon. She had asthma and dyslexia. We went surfing in the States on our 5th anniversary before I proposed. Why was all of this coming back to me now, and why did it just have to be accompanied by a horrible headache?

“Jungkook! Wait, how are we able to be so far away from each other, and why do I have this awful headache?” I couldn’t answer her. “Jungkook?” I tried to reach out to her through the bond, but I couldn’t. “Boy if you don’t answer in the next 10 seconds, I’m storming out of this hospital room to go find you.”
“Help...” was all I could manage through the headache. I could feel her worry and fear begin to course through my body.

“Jagi, I’m coming.” She called me jagi. The thought immediately calmed me and the headache let up a little bit.

“Ma’am please stop running!” The guys all looked around the corner to see what was going on.

“Cathleen! And doctor people!” Taehyung exclaimed. When Cathleen saw me, she ran into my arms. She was short of breath, and I quietly scolded her for acting so carelessly.

“Pabo, you’re wheezing again. Why did you think it would be a good idea to run right after having an asthma attack?”

“Because you were in pain, and I needed to make sure you were ok,” She said in between shallow breaths.

“Aish, it won't matter if I’m ok if you die in the process of finding me.”

“I can’t die because you’ll always save me.” I didn’t need to say anything else. I just wanted to stay like this forever, holding her in my arms.
No plot twists here! Just some random bunches of of the plot that I needed to get out there so that the main plot could develop properly! And that's all I'm giving you right now in terms of a kissing scene 😏. In honor of me graduating, there are 2016 words in this chapter. I know, random, but I'm really excited about graduating!
