I went through a phase before college when I hated hugs.

My boyfriend told me I was bad at it, my friends were violent huggers, and I just didn't really like the stress involved with deciding whether or not to hug someone when you greet them.
I don't know what changed for me, but now I'm totally fine with hugs and cuddles.
Maybe it was 4 years of rush hour subway rides in New York that got me used to people, but whatever it is, I'm definitely on the pro-cuddle team now!

Buzzfeed brought some professional cuddlers in to the office to curl up with their employees, and this is what happened.

Also for the anti-cuddle crew, here's a video of people being hugged and hating it :)

What about you, are you a hug lover or hater?

Depends on how I am feeling I'm both
I definitely turned pro hugger in high school only because my friends were huggers, so I just got used to it. However, I'm not good at giving someone else a hug. I'm up for anyone giving me a hug and I'll hug back, but I usually don't initiate the hug. Does that make sense? lol I don't know, it's weird.
I only hug certain people. I will hug my elderly clients and my husband and some of my family... my mother in law likes to kiss cheeks...I just can't do it.
I absolutely hate it when people touch me. I won't even let my own family members hug me.
Pro-cuddle and pro-hug, but only a very selective group of people. Very close friends, family, and love interests.
