When Large Companies Profit by Paying Unlivable Wages, Taxpayers Pick up the Tab
McDonalds has published this sample budget for its minimum wage employees (who earn $7.72 an hour). The budget outlandishly expects workers to carry not one but two full time jobs. Do you want heat in your house? --- Nope, McDonald's says get a blanket. We have social services programs like food-stamps and Medicaid to help out people who earn these salaries. Fundamentally though, this is the taxpayer subsidizing fast food profits.

@curtisb this budget doesn't cover gas expenses, so Iguess it's safe to assume its free?

@blackmage I think the idea is to make a sort of campfire. That way you have heat and can roast all kinds of meats and marshmellows
