Tomato: Should It REALLY Be A Fruit?
A few days ago, I went to go eat a fruit salad only to realize that, among my grapes, cantaloupe, and sliced strawberries, there were CHERRY TOMATOES.

So I know that tomatoes are technically considered to be fruit, but can't we reconsider? Like, is there a petition to sign?

Who else here can't stand tomatoes?

knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit wisdom is knowing that you don't put a tomato in a fruit salad

But isn't that how "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" started?

If a tomato plant could be genetically modified to not produce seeds, then technically it would not be a fruit. Unfortunately, that plant would be sterile and not sutainable for future plants.

@Ticasensei I know. Can't we just make it an exception vegetable instead of forcing it into the fruit category?
