Introducing Hyolyn!! {Underrated Female Soloists}
What's up guys! John here and its time to introduce some more female artists. I'm am a huge fan of female idols, I dontg understand why they're so underappreciated. But today I'm going to focus on one my favorite soloists.
BASIC FACTS: Real Name- Kim Hyo-Jung Birthdate- January 11, 1991 Born in Incheon, South Korea History: Hyolyn auditioned for JYP two times and was finally accepted on her second try after placing 1st place at the audition. She was planned to debut in a project group with Secret's Jieun, EXID's Hani, and Bestie's Uji, but plans for the debut were cancelled. Hyolyn then left JYP and joined Starship Entertainment. She auditioned with a cover of Christina Aguilera's Hurt. June 2010- Hyolyn made her debut with girl group Sistar. It was with their single "Push, Push". SISTAR has released 2 studio albums and 5 EPs.
Solo Debut: Hyolyn shared a stage with Steview Wonder on the 2013 MNet Asian Music Awards. It was a special performance of the song "I Just Called to Say I Love You". She made her solo debut on November 26, 2013 with the album Love & Hate. The album consists of double title tracks "Lonely" and "One Way Love". Other tracks were helped by producers such as Brave Brothers and Kim Do Hoon. This album also features Korean rappers such as Mad Clown, Block B's Zico, Dok2 and Geeks' Lil' Boy.
Her latest song has been "Love Line" which was a collab between Jooyoung and Bumkey. It was a funky song that had MD bopping my head. All of their voicies really suited well together. Also Hyolyn had gotten to collab with Jooyoung again. They collaborated on an earlier song named "Erase".
