It's no surprise that manga is popular around the globe. In fact, many dramas get their inspiration from manga series. After talking to some vinglers yesterday I revisit a couple of old dramas I watched during high school and found out the original storyline was actually from popular mangas. There are anime versions of some of the series but this card will be mainly the live action adaption in different languages!

Hanazakari kimi ni tachie e (1996)

Japanese version: Hana Kimi (2007)
Taiwanese version: Hana Kimi (2006)
Korean version: To the Beautiful You (2012)

Boys Over Flower

Japanese Version: Hana Yori Dango (2005)
Taiwanese Version: Meteor Garden (2001)
Korean Version: Boys Over Flower (2009)

Itazura Na Kiss (1996)

Taiwanese Version: It Started with a Kiss (2005)
Korean Version: Mischievous Kiss (2010)
Japanese Version: Itazura Na kiss Live in Tokyo (2013)

Mars (1996-2000)

Taiwanese Version: (2004) - Starring Barbie Xu & Vic Zhou
Japanese Version: (2016) - Starring Taisuke Fujigaya, Masataka Kubota, Marie Iitoyo

Is this new to you? If not, which one did you watch?

Was anyone else singing "it started with out with a kiss, how did it end up like this. It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss" in their head when they read that title? Just me? Okay.
