Me: *minding my own business working* Person Shopping 1: *talking to friend* you don't have to like cakepops but I like cakepops.
Me: Wait....what? Did they just say something about kpop?!? Am I hearing things right? *continues eavesdropping* Person Shopping 2: Well I don't really like cakepops. Me: Why don't they like kpop? It's great! Person Shopping 1: Well I didn't ask you now did I.
Me: *realizes I'm working in a bakery and they are staying cakepops not kpop* oh nevermind....... Me: Why don't they like cakepops? They're great! Sometimes its loud where I work with all the fans and machines running (I work in the deli and bakery) so I legit thought they were saying kpop! γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ Anybody else have this happen to them?
Actually the same thing happened to me. My mom asked "Would you hand me that cake pop Book?" And I was like "WHAT BOOK!?" And she said "CAKE POP BOOK! I know What you thought I said." Lol
Yep! I've had that issue before. It's heartbreaking when you realise you misheard the person. πŸ˜‚πŸ’”
