From Kirk Hamilton on Kotaku.com: "Today during Comic-Con, Ubisoft announced a new set of stories from the Assassin's Creed universe called Assassin's Creed: Brahman. It'll be a graphic novel set in India, and will introduce a new assassin to the fold. According to press materials Ubisoft sent out, Brahman will take place in 19th century India, "a land of mysterious golden palaces and cursed treasure chambers held in the iron grip of British colonial rule." The new assassin's name is Arbaaz Mir, fighting "a lifelong foe who has subjugated Mir's land and people." Brahman will be written by Brenden Fletcher, with art by Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl. They're the same guys who worked on the pervious comics Assassin's Creed: The Fall and Assassin's Creed: The Chain, which introduced a character whose descendant Desmond tangled with in the modern-day parts of Assassins' Creed III. So, even though they aren't games, the stories in the Creed comics are still canonical." Sounds pretty Creed-y to me! Here are some pages Ubisoft sent along:
