Yoo Hye-jeong (Park Shin-hye) was a tough bully in school with a prickly personality and always goes wayward. She had many scars from her childhood and through self-preservation, Hye-jeong keeps her heart shut away from other people. However, she changes after meeting her mentor Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won), who plays a key role in transforming her life from a helpless gangster to a compassionate doctor.

1st Impression:

I have been waiting for this drama to air because Park Shin-hye is my favorite actress, so I was really excited to watch the first episode. Plus the role she has in this is really different from all of her other roles. She plays a violent, gangster-like girl who is always getting into trouble. Shin-hye has never played an action role, or violent character. It's great to see a new side to her. The other characters so far in the first episode are unique, especially the male lead. When she flips him the first time, he says "Lets go Out!" because she's strong and he finds it attractive. It was very funny. I felt so bad for her character, she is always getting hit by her family and is used to pain and not used to being loved by others. When her father asks her in the car "Why don't you ever cry?". She responds, "Because my heart has gone cold". It's so sad to see such a cold and lonely expression from Shin-hye. I pity her character. So far, I am in love with this drama. The OST soundtrack sounds like it will be amazing from what ive heard so far. Shin-hye's character is so awesome when she fights. The action scenes look legit and amazing. She turns into a completely different person. I have to admit that she pulls off the cool, fighter type character and here I only thought she could be sweet and cute but she can also be totally awesome as well. And that's why I love Park Shin-hye so much.

Are you watching "Doctor Crush", will you be watching and what do you think of this drama so far?

@sherrysahar Yes, she really has improved alot. @TaraJenner Agreed with your Pinocchio statement, her kiss scenes were also okay... in Flower Boy Next Door but I wasn't a big fan of that drama. She seems like a strong character in this one so far, so hopefully there is a kiss scene and hopefully it will be good!
its on my list but i will wait since i dont like to watch dramas as they are airing lol
It's on my list ... but it may be a while until I get to it. I like their to be at least a few episodes out before I start a show usually.
