Not sure which one I think came out best. I tried to do squirtle squad, but after doing the first squirtle with glasses I gave up on that idea because it didn't come out exactly how I wanted lol. But now that I've done these, I don't think I'll ever do it again. Lol. Making them was easy. Decorating them was a pain in my neck. Literally. I'll post the recipe below πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
The cookie recipe is actually a donut one. But it worked out quite nicely. Here's the recipe. 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened Β½ cup sugar 1 egg, room temperature Β½ cup whole milk, room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon baking powder Β½ teaspoon salt ΒΌ rounded teaspoon ground nutmeg 1Β½ cups all-purpose flour Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease baking sheet*. In a medium bowl, whisk together baking powder, salt nutmeg and flour. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk and vanilla. Set aside. 2: Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 3: Add the wet ingredients in two parts (mixture may look curdled), alternating with the dry ingredients. Mix last addition of dry ingredients just until combined; do not overmix. 4: Spoon the batter into a piping bag or a large ziplock bag with a corner cut off. Pipe batter into cookie sheet in round circles. 5: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until donuts spring back when lightly touched. Cool the donuts on a wire rack. And you're done Best if eaten within 24 hours
I used white chocolate custard as the filling. Use whatever you want. If you'd like the custard recipe, let me know and I'll DM you.
Omg, you even made sunglasses Squirtle. The detail of these is amazing!
@danidee thank you! I was wanting to do the whole squirtle squad but I didn't think I did very good with the sunglasses lol. I appreciate your compliment 😁😁
