#3. Gun x Clover by Yamaguchi Mikoto Mikado High School trains the best of the best when it comes to mercenary bodyguards. Morito Hayama, a student mercenary escort who doesn't even have a rank, is suddenly assigned to a highly valued person. No bodyguard assigned to her has survived so far. Will Morito, the no rank merc, break the mold and fulfill his duty protecting her or will he end up like the rest and die? There isn't an anime for this and the manga is still ongoing. There's some ecchi parts and a lot of big boobs. There's also a lot of action. Once you start reading you'll want to finish the same day. I'm hoping there will be an anime soon. I'd love to see the action brought to life.
#2. Arachnid by Murata Shinya Alice is a senior in high school. Not only is she bullied and tormented at school, her uncle torments her at home as well. Her parents aren't alive so she lives with him because he is her only family. One day she witnesses her uncles death at the hands of an assassin by the name of Kumo. (That's Japanese for arachnid.) She then loses consciousness. When she wakes up, she finds herself at Kumo's house. She no longer has any family and now is going to be raised by the assassin. This one is also a little ecchi. But oh man the fight scenes are awesome! There is no anime adaption yet, but I'm hoping there will be one soon. There's a whole organization of assassins and they all have bug names. Like scorpion, caterpillar, cockroach, arachnid, etc. I feel like I'm learning about bugs as I read this manga lol. It's also ongoing so check it out when you have a chance!
** #1. Beelzebub by Tamura Ryuuhei ** Tatsumi Oga is a first year student Ishiyama High School, a school for delinquents, where he is called the "strongest juvenile delinquent". One day while sleeping next to a river, Tatsumi sees a man floating down it. Tatsumi pulls him to shore and the man splits in half, revealing a baby boy. This boy, Beelzebub, is the son of the demon king, and Tatsumi, along with Beelzebub's demon maid Hilda, has been chosen as the one to raise him. This is the only one out of the three that has an anime. And I just found that out recently lol. I read the manga a few months back and just started watching the anime a couple days ago. Both anime and manga are complete so it's ok to binge watch. For the most part, the anime stays true to the manga so you don't have to read it after watching. Give it a chance and you'll see why it's my favorite shounen manga/anime.
If you have time to check any of the three manga/anime listed above, let me know! I'd love to read your thoughts/opinions. And if you have any favorite action or shounen manga/anime let me know so I can check those out!
