Many people listen to music for different reasons. One of the thing I studied in college is how our emotions are affected by music. In short, there are two kinds of emotion we all might be familiar with -- perceived emotions and felt emotions.
Perceived Emotions: An example is some people listen to sad songs because they simply enjoy it. They are not depressed.
Felt Emotions: your actual emotions triggered by people, place or thing. Which is why the 'same' music does not work for everyone.
By now you should be wondering why am getting all theoretical with music?
I'm assuming most of us don't completely understand K-pop and C-pop lyrics. But, the interesting thing is despite of language barriers we still find it enjoyable? Music is phenomenal. As usual, here is my Friday playlist (coming in a bit late). Theme: Feel Good Friday. :)
