“I cannot remember the books I’ve read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
I really love this quote particularly because I find myself to be of the same thinking. I remember some meals perfectly: every bite was so good that I wouldn't let myself forget. Or maybe, because every bite was so bad. Others slip by just as part of the day to day, but they're still part of me. They have made me who I am.
And so have books.
