Generals Consider Death for Morsi
In an unfortunately unsurprising move, the Egyptian generals have announced charges against President Morsi that could lead to the death penalty. In addition, they have pledged to take steps to bring security to Cairo (which is widely interpreted to mean a crackdown on Islamists). All of this comes as Washington refuses to issue a statement on whether the power switch was a coup..... Any thoughts?
@curtisb what's the US gov waiting for? until a "democratic" leader comes into power until recognizing them?
