The cover of the upcoming September issue of Kodansha's ARIA magazine is revealing that the issue will contain the final chapter of the K: Memory of Red manga. The magazine issue will also contain a special B2-size poster for the manga. The manga was originally launched back in May 2012 by Rei Rairakua and Yui Kuroe doing the story and art, respectively. It acted as a prequel manga that followed the leader of HOMRA, the Red King Mikoto Suoh, and features an all new story not told by the anime series. The preview image for the October issue of ARIA suggests a new series is to be starting within the K franchise, as a special tagline is contained on this image, "Don't miss the latest information for 'K -Days of Blue-'!!".
