Meet Boys24 Teams Yellow, Green & Red!
안녕하세요 my Loverlys! KPopBeat here with the first look at the groups of Boys24. Now each group is lead by one of the Top 7. I decided against doing the eliminations on these cards and instead will make one single elimination card.
As you can see... I decided to add more than on group to each card since I am doing the eliminations on another.
Well first lets talk about the performances from each group shall we....
Yellow group- Leader JinSeok. He was #7 on the Top 7
Yellow team did Teen Topp Warning Sign. Now this performance was one that had many people on their seats. If you noticed when the song stopped and a HongIn walked up in slow motion it was because they were nervous. HongIn is actually almost completely deaf. He has learned to dance despite his hearing, but singing is very different.
The members, however, do care a lot and helped him every step of the way to get passed his issues with the pitch.
Overall I liked this performance and was pleased that they didn't sound like a bunch of little boys at a talent show. I give them props for being able to handle themselves despite the odds against them.
Green Team - Leader InPyo - #6 in Top 7.
Infinite Be Mine. This performance was harder for me to watch. The dancing was pretty good and I enjoyed it. Is it on the same level as Infinite themselves? No... but to compare them would be cruel.
What really killed this performance for me was the weak vocals. I was not impressed with the vocals nor the first rapper. They seemed like they were not sure of themselves and that maybe a stronger vocal was in fact needed in the group. The second rapper did catch my attention and I am interested to see more from him next week.
Now I have seen the comments on YouTube for this group and it breaks my heart how mean people can be. They are trainees and yes this was lacking in the wow factor but please remember these as well as all idols, celebrities, and actors are in fact human and have feelings. If you do not like their work state it in an adult manner and explain where they could get better or do not comment at all. Let's help to make kpop fandoms less looked at like evil heartless creatures who would just as quickly tear their idols apart as worship them.
Red Team - Leader SungHo - #5 in Top 7.
Block B 'Very Good'. This one was bitter sweet for me... I am a huge Block B fan and to me they are one of those groups that is hard for me to see other people cover.... but... with that said I enjoyed this performance. The dancing was good and the vocals were decent. There were times when the vocals were very weak but I think that has to do with who was in charge of that part.
I do like SungHo's rapping but I feel like we didn't see much of it this time around due to him making sure everyone got an equal part. It was enjoyable and not cringe worthy so I give it a pass.
Now that is all from these three groups. I will be posting the last four and the elimination shortly!!
Until Then
