Reducing Acne Scars

Que tal peeps!

I know many people deal with the battle scars when it comes to fighting acne. I personally have not had to deal with the issue but I have many amgios that have dealt with the issue. Recently, I have had a male friend and a female friend come to me about reducing their acne scars and they were very self concious about it. Yall know I'm all about natural skincare first if one can do it, so I did some research to make them something. They both have oily skin.

Quick Facial Masks

Notes: If you have sensitive skin use very little lemon juice. If you have irritation of skin before using mask skip using citrus juice altogether since this will burn the skin. I have very sensitive skin so I use 2-3 drops of lemon juice or 1/2 tsp. at max.

Battle Scar Scrub

FYI MI AMIGO CAME UP WITH THE NAME. HE IS NEW TO SKINCARE AND THINKS IT'S FOR WOMEN ONLY SO HE GAVE IT THIS MASCULINITY NAME TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN SKINCARE LOL SMH.

Ingredients

1. Tree Tea Oil 2. Vitamin E Oil 3. Apricot Oil 4. Turmeric powder 5. Coffee Grounds 6. Lemon Juice 7. Honey 8. Splash of Filtered Water

Directions for Application

1. Splash face with warm water 2. Apply scrub to face with light circular motions. 3. Let sit on face for about 2-5 mins. 4. Rinse with warm water 5. Pat face dry with towel 6. Apply moisturizer Once a week do a steam towel treatment. Just place a steam towel on face.

They were pleased with the results. They said they seen positive results with about one week!

@LAVONYORK I'm not a fan of bleaching. If you are considering bleaching I would suggest doing tons of research. @stevieq good luck!

Just for anyone with sensitive skin that comes across this... Don't use lemon or lime or any other citrus on your face. It BURNS

@MariRu I have highly sensitive skin and I don't have a problem with lemon or lime. However...if you have sensitive skin like me only use a little bit. like 1\2 teaspoonful or 1\2 of that. I try to use the lemon juice in the bottle for myself. i use about 2 or 3 drops for an 8oz jar.

@amobigbang I guess I may just have an allergy (or I'm way more sensitive that you) because even the smallest amount irritates my skin. No matter how little I use, it's like my skin only recognizes the lime and reacts to it.

@MariRu wow. yeah my skin is super sensitive thats why i switched over to natural skincare and making my own. my skin does not like cinnamon. i guess everyone is different. Thats why i added water in that scrub i made for mis amigos. pure lemon on the face is not the best for some.
