DAY 14 - Saddest anime death?

I cant possibly choose just one anime death... So, I chose my top 3!

A superficial but kind-hearted celestial mage, Lucy Heartfilia, joins a famous wizarding guild in Magnolia Town called Fairy Tail, where the members use their powers to earn rewards in exchange for fulfilling quests. Here she befriends an impetuous but faithful dragon-slayer wizard, Natsu Dragneel, who is scouring the land for his missing father. The two form a bond with fellow mages Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster, and together they tackle daunting challenges, taking on several powerful allies and foes along the way.
Tokyo has become a cruel and merciless city—a place where vicious creatures called “ghouls” exist alongside humans. The citizens of this once great metropolis live in constant fear of these bloodthirsty savages and their thirst for human flesh. However, the greatest threat these ghouls pose is their dangerous ability to masquerade as humans and blend in with society. Kaneki ends up with a ghouls organ in his body and becomes a half-ghoul.
Clannad: After Story, the sequel to the critically acclaimed slice-of-life series Clannad, begins after Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa graduate from high school. Together, they experience the emotional rollercoaster of growing up. Unable to decide on a course for his future, Tomoya learns the value of a strong work ethic and discovers the strength of Nagisa's support. Through the couple's dedication and unity of purpose, they push forward to confront their personal problems, deepen their old relationships, and create new bonds.

1. Fairy Tail - Future Lucy's Death is by far the saddest anime death I have ever seen, it makes me cry every time I watch it. Everything that happens in that scene breaks my heart. Happy crying saying that "Lucy, is Lucy. We don't care where your from your still our Lucy and we love you!" It crushes me to bits and then future Lucy asks if she can see Lucy's guild mark. Lucy cries asking what happened to your mark? It's gone and then everyone cries louder as future Lucy dies in Lucy's arms... DX
2. Tokyo Ghoul - Hide's Death is probably the saddest scenes I've ever seen in anime. How would you feel if you had to carry your dead best friend in your arms? It killed me inside. What made it more sad was that the 1st opening "Unravel" started to play in acoustic version which shocked me and made the scene 100 X sadder. I was bawling harder when it played and was also singing along to it.
3. Clannad After Story - Nagisa's death is one of the most well-known anime death's out there, even people who haven't seen this anime have heard about her death. It is such a heartbreaking and sad death. After giving birth to her daughter Ushio, Nagisa feels weak and she already deals with a sickness where she almost died once when she was young. But this time, after she gave birth we all knew when the "Dango" ending song started to play what was going to happen. Tomoya tried to let Nagisa hold the baby but she said she was tired and as her hand fell. Tomoya knew that she died but didn't want to believe and kept screaming her name. We see flashbacks of their happy moments and how they first meet. Tomoya even says that he wishes they never met and never had Ushio. Then later Ushio also dies. But atleast the ending was happy. You'll have to watch the anime to understand.

I encourage all of you to do this challenge along with me, or just say in the comments what is the SADDEST anime death you've seen!
