Genres: Historical, Parody Draw a circle, that's the earth! I know I've said that Fairy Tail and Soul Eater are my firsts, but I always forget about Hetalia! Before I got into anime, a friend of mine turned me onto this ONA! What if nations were people? That is basically the premise of this anime, and this is how I view history now! Since it's a webcomic, episodes are about 5 min, and I really think you should check it out if you haven't! This is one of those increasingly rare instances where I think I prefer the dub, btw (accents and such).

Honorable Mentions

Rather than just focusing on my favorites, since so many of the anime I've seen and so many of my favorites fit into this category, I tried to feature some that I think may be lesser known, or that haven't gotten much attention from me throughout this challenge.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Romance I saw ads for this on Crunchyroll last summer, and I thought it looked kinda cute, so I decided to give it a shot! The lone member of the goddess Hestia's familia, Bell Cranel is a bit of an underdog who wants to become stronger so that he can be worthy of a girl he fell for while adventuring in the Dungeon. He's a bit innocent, naive, and completely adorable! I'm not sure what else to say about it except that I really enjoyed this one and hope that it gets a second season!

Genres: Drama, Romance, Yaoi Chisato is an overprotective father who chases away his son Riju's friends, fearing that they want to take advantage of him. However, one of Riju's friends, Shunsuke, never falls for his tricks, but Riju may not be the one he's interested in. I don't want to spoil too much, so I won't say too much more! I'm pretty new to yaoi, and I think this is a good one for beginners like me; strange as it may sound, the story is actually quite beautiful, and nothing really felt too forced, which I was worried about with the genre. Anyway, I found it to be rather heartwarming, funny, and adorable!

One Punch Man

Genres: Action, Parody, Sci-Fi, Seinen, Super Power, Supernatural This anime was all over the place when it was airing, but I wasn't sure about it until I finally started it, around the time that the 10th episode aired, and I think it actually stood up to the hype! The characters are a riot, especially Saitama, and I love the shifts in tone! I definitely recommend it, and I'll be checking out the upcoming dub (debuting midnight July 16 on Toonami (Adult Swim/Cartoon Network)!)!
As always, hope you enjoyed! So glad to see this catching on! If you wanna learn more about me/ be my friend/ be tagged in these, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm nice, I swear (mostly ;p)! Or I guess you can follow my 100 Days of Anime collection, or both if you feel so inclined! Until next time! Please, feel free to share your thoughts/answers in the comments! I love discussion!
